Podcast: Interview with Green Party of Ontario Leader, Mike Schreiner

The 2018 Ontario provincial election promises to be a battle right down to the final bell. Kathleen While Kathleen Wynne's Liberal Party has never polled lower than it is polling now, new Ontario Progressive Conservative leader Doug Ford opened his campaign by calling for the elimination of the sex-ed curriculum in Ontario, before consulting with parents. Both leaders appear to be not well liked by the electorate. Which means both the NDP and the Green Party will have a chance to improve their standing at Queen's Park.

Mike Schreiner has been leader of the Green Party of Ontario since 2009. He is running in Guelph in the 2018 provincial election, for the second time.

A successful entrepreneur and small business owner, Mike is a leading advocate for small businesses, local food and sustainable communities. Mike is well known for his leadership in co-founding the award-winning Local Food Plus organization and for his successful Guelph-based small businesses, WOW Foods and Earthdance Organics.
