I am the founder of Unpublished Media Inc., a company I started in 2012. I am also a communications professional and community activist, living in Nepean, Ontario. And, I am a hockey goaltender, political hack and most importantly, an advocate for grassroots, participatory democracy at all levels of government.
I voted: UnsureHard to say. I think the Bank of Canada has raised interests rates too high too fast, and has chilled the economy in quick order. Too much for my liking. What did we expect starting from zero after covid? Because we were headed toward a deflationary period before covid, I expect interest rates to fall back down again next spring. I hope so anyway.
It’s open to anyone to respond. The people who are most likely to respond to this poll are conservatives. Our polls are not scientific and we don’t pretend that they are. We really want people to use the opportunity to connect with their MP through our tool in order to communicate how they feel and how think about different issues. This time it's about the next leader of the Conservative Party.
I voted: NoPoilievre laid his bed a long time ago. He's too far to the right for most Canadians. I expect his ranting and raving to have a chilling effect on the electorate.
