I voted: NoNo legitimate reason but it wouldn't matter. The opposition parties don't have leaders capable of defeating him.
I voted: CarneyMark Carney is the most qualified candidate to be Prime Minister let alone Liberal Party leader. No one matches his skill or experience on the world stage. We need a real economist who can sell Canada to the world right now. Mr. Carney is that person in my opinion.
Most definitely the polls have swung back now that Trudeau has stepped down and Carney has entered the race. I agree, he’s a natural and the right person for the job at this time. I thought Canadians would come around if he entered the race, I’m happy to see its happening.
None of those things happened when he worked for Harper, so why would they happen now? He is super qualified. I’m confident he will do well. Vanier is a likely riding as you note.
