Huge miscalculation on his part. Alberta conservatives will never vote Liberal in enough numbers to make a difference, while outside of Alberta, most progressives are absolutely opposed to expanding the fossil fuel sector.
Why would Trump’s artificial war in the Starit of Hormuz be more influential on Carney than Canada’s unrelenting wildfires? Fires that destroy CanadIan communities and harm Canada? Forest fires that are entirely fuelled by climate change.
