LIVE @ 8PM ET: UnpublishedTV - COVID-19's Impact on Youth

Youth is the hope of our future according to Jose Rizal. How are they enduring this pandemic?

We’ve been locked down or under restrictions since March, and while youth are dealing with the stresses that come with the pandemic, it seems to have opened their eyes to other issues facing society. Mental health concerns, financial worries and the recovery are all on their minds.

While the study shows that this far in to the pandemic, young Canadians are doing OK, there is an impact on the family, society, and employment prospects. We asked you: do you think the government should be doing more to provide mental health services to young Canadians struggling because of COVID-19?

  • 20% of viewers say the government is doing enough
  • 72% of viewers say the government needs to be doing more
  • 8% of viewers are unsure
