UnpublishedTV: Artificial Intelligence in Politics
Artificial intelligence. The emergence of the technology which allows machines to perform tasks that usually require human intelligence. What could go wrong?
Many of us were twigged to the notion of artificial intelligence with the investigation into Cambridge Analytica and it’s impact on the election. While artificial intelligence will soon give us self driving vehicles, there is a growing skepticism of applying it in the political realm or public policy making. Politicians consistently rank near the bottom of the list when it comes to being respected. Could A.I improve on that? We asked out viewers if they were comfortable with the idea. Their response so far;
87.5% - 'I don't like it'
7.1% - 'I'm OK with it'
5.4% - Unsure
