A community staple in small-town Ontario has been destroyed. The Douglas Trading Post, once known for several decades as The Douglas Tavern, was quickly consumed by a massive fire on Monday night. And now, questions about its future are slowly being addressed. Kristy Cameron chats with Dan Peters, a co-owner of Dan Peters Auction and The Douglas Trading Post, on today’s Ottawa Now.
The report examined a crash of a Bell Textron 206L-4 that experienced a hard landing in July 2025 west of Red Deer during a private flight with the pilot and a passenger on board.
