The Ottawa Senators are in conversation with the federal and provincial governments in regards to a brand-new Downtown arena. The team has hired a lobbyist group to talk to both levels of government, but it appears that municipal dollars are off the table. For context, Ottawa’s Mayor had previously said that city dollars would not be used to build a new facility for the Senators. Who should receive the bill for these expensive undertakings?
