It looks like Ontario is going to ban declawing cats and debarking dogs. The legislation would also ban ear cropping dogs, and the Ford government is consulting on the possible ban next month. The City is moving forward with the expansion and renovation of the Alexander Community Centre in the Carlington community and is looking for feedback.
Over the past several years, residents have provided input on how the centre should grow to better serve the community. Based on previous public consultations, a design has now been selected. The expansion will include a new full-size gymnasium, improved multipurpose spaces and upgrades to accessibility and community areas.
