Air Canada ordered to compensate Ottawa man $15K after losing appeal

Roughly three and a half years after an Ottawa man’s flight to Portugal was delayed by over 24 hours, the Ontario Superior Court has ordered Air Canada to pay Rejean Landry $15,000 in compensation.

The report examined a crash of a Bell Textron 206L-4 that experienced a hard landing in July 2025 west of Red Deer during a private flight with the pilot and a passenger on board.
