A Canadian has died at the hands of the authorities in Iran, Foreign Affairs Minister Anita Anand confirmed Thursday.
As public protests against the theocratic regime continued, Ms. Anand said on X that she had just learned about the death.
Staff at the Toronto Children's Aid Society will decide whether or not to a strike mandate in bargaining as they push for better work conditions and balance.
