Want high-speed rail closer to Kingston? MP says it's time to speak up

As Alto begins public consultations on high-speed rail, it's exploring a second proposed route that could bring the train as close as a 15-minute drive of downtown Belleville, and around 30 minutes from Kingston and Brockville.
Construction on the 18-kilometre, 19-stop light rail route between Port Credit and Steeles Avenue began in 2020 and was originally scheduled to be completed in 2024.
