Carney says Canada 'doesn't live because of the United States'

Prime Minister Mark Carney on Thursday pushed back against U.S. President Donald Trump’s claim that Canada 'lives because of the United States,' saying the country thrives on its own values of inclusion, openness and shared prosperity.
Four of the five candidates said they are running to rebuild the party, while Tony McQuail was the lone candidate who said he is eyeing the Prime Minister's Office.
