Hour 2 of Ottawa Now for Tues. February 3rd, 2026
February 3, 2026
Monday might have been Groundhog Day, but it was a large emu that was stealing the show in Almonte. Kristy Cameron chats with Tracy Foley, a Canine Coordinator at Gagne Homestead and Rescue. She safely caught Enzo the Emu and brought him home. Meantime, the Artemis II Moon Mission was expected to launch on Super Bowl Sunday. However, those original plans have been delayed until March after NASA crews ran into fuel leaks during Monday’s rehearsal. Dr. Shawna Pandya, a commercial astronaut and scientist, joins us in Hour 2. Plus, CFRA’s Chris Holski delves into the growing trend of ‘house burping’.
The theft happened on Saturday, Jan. 31 on Kneller Road in the city's Rutland area.
