One man has died following Thursday night’s stabbing near the Rideau Centre, and police have taken one person into custody. Today, the OPS Homicide Unit is still investigating the area. It once again brings up the level of safety in Ottawa’s Downtown Core. Do you feel safe whenever you go there? Chris Lewis, a former OPP Commissioner, used to live in the area. Dillon Lee and Lara Jamieson helped rescue a pig that had escaped from a pickup truck as it travelled last Saturday on the 417 at Carling. The pair, and the pig's owner, were eventually able to load the animal into a proper trailer.
