The U Sports Final 8 National Men's Basketball Tournament is back in Calgary for the first time in over four decades. Eight of the best teams will convene in Calgary with the hopes of being crowned national champions and taking home the W.P. McGee Trophy.

The City of Ottawa says neither City Staff nor Ottawa Police have the necessary resources to manage ‘school streets’. Back in February of 2024, a pilot project was introduced for Trille Des Bois Elementary School in Vanier, located just a few blocks south of Beechwood Avenue.
