Parks Canada banning paddling at some popular Banff National Park lakes

Starting this spring, Parks Canada is restricting boats and other watercraft on some popular lakes in Banff National Park to prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species.

The minister did not provide a timeline for any agreements with other provinces but said provincial governments will be expected to put up their own money or legislation.
