Charter rights violation by Ontario police forces persist, new report says

Violations of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms by police remains an ongoing problem, according to a new report. The study, conducted by researchers at Western University and the University of Toronto, warned that these violations are causing evidence to be tossed out, trials being delayed or stopped, and ultimately, criminals getting off the hook.
