Black adults in Canada are more likely not to fill prescriptions because of financial constraints than white adults, according to a new study that highlights disparities in prescription medication coverage as a major barrier to equitable health care.
Canada's telecommunications regulator is calling for applications for Indigenous-led FM radio stations in Ottawa and Toronto. Stations dedicated to Indigenous communities have been absent from both markets since First People’s Radio Incorporated ceased operations in September.
