This weekend’s high-stakes NDP Convention in Winnipeg is set to define the party’s future, as a new leader will be selected over the coming days. The Toronto Star reports, among 70 proposals, is a bold but unlikely push for mandatory federal voting. Other key debates include overhauling the Senate, electoral reform, and navigating trade tensions with U.S. President Donald Trump.
