Toronto has launched its third pothole repair blitz of the year as Mayor Olivia Chow says crews are working to catch up after a harsh winter and fluctuating temperatures.
Perhaps one of the most controversial issues in Canada is MAID, or medical assistance in dying.
There are people who feel that it’s being offered too readily in cases where death may not be an appropriate course, and others who feel there needs to be expanded access.
One province has decided that the pace of these deaths has gone too far, too fast.
