P.E.I. potato farmers are facing a new challenge as they get ready to plant their crop for 2026. Experts say the food industry is being reshaped by the growing number of people taking GLP-1 drugs, changing how Canadians, eat, drink and shop — including their consumption of potatoes.
One year ago, Prime Minister Mark Carney won a seat in a general election in the riding of Nepean. It marked the first time since the 1880s that the prime minister's riding was in the nation's capital. CBC's Hallie Cotnam checks in with local voters.
