Ottawa Now - How a student-run invention is making it easier for students to find housing

Finding a place to live isn’t easy, and a lot of people can relate to the struggle of scouring online marketplaces to find an acceptable rental space. What makes it borderline unbearable for students is the high cost of living, online marketplace scams, and a full school workload. Oh, and you might be stuck with an unpleasant roommate. Aidan Fitzmaurice, a UOttawa student and the founder of Next Room Incorporated, is on a mission to change that. He runs a student-led platform where students can find housing listings, not to mention their own roommates. Fitzmaurice joins Kristy Cameron on today’s Ottawa Now.
