The government of France says it has yet to decide the fate of two captive killer whales that a U.S. group is hoping to bring to a proposed coastal refuge in Nova Scotia.
Grégory Bulté, a Carleton University biology professor, counts Northern Map Turtles every year in order to better understand the species’ population and ecosystem. Stu Mills went along for the count this year.
