Carney rejigs advisory council on Canada-U.S. trade

Prime Minister Mark Carney revived an advisory council on Canada-U.S. trade, adding several high profile business executives and former Conservative Leader Erin O'Toole to the group. Canada-U.S. Trade Minister Dominic LeBlanc said the group is focused heavily on businesses with critical ties to the United States, and it will meet for the first time the week of April 27.
The payout process has begun for those who processed a claim in a $500-million settlement for a class-action lawsuit stemming from the alleged industry-wide price fixing of bread.
