This morning, Dana, Kailey, and Reem were recognized through the 9-1-1 Children’s Achievement Awards for their bravery and quick actions. Mayor Mark Sutcliffe together with Councillor Riley Brockington, Chair of the Emergency Preparedness and Protective Services Committee, presented them with awards for their courage.
The award, held in partnership with Bell, recognizes youth ages 12 and under who effectively used 9-1-1 in a crisis and helped others.
