Alberta changing slogan on border-crossing signs to ‘Strong and Free’

People entering Alberta by land, starting this fall, won't be greeted by signs saying, “Welcome to Wild Rose Country.” The Alberta government announced Wednesday it will replace the slogan on its 22 border-crossing signs with, “Welcome to Alberta. Strong and Free."
