CFIA suspends licences of Quebec frozen dessert maker

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) suspended two Safe Food for Canadians (SFC) licences held by Abe's Frozen Desserts Inc. on May 8, according to a government news release.

If the injunction is granted, the province would have the legal authority to evict the roughly two dozen people living at the encampment and clear the site.
