Court orders Toronto plastic surgeon to pay $22.5-million after filming patients without consent

An Ontario Superior Court judge has ordered a Toronto plastic surgeon, who goes by “Dr. 6ix” on social media, to pay $22.5-million to 7,000 patients who were filmed in his clinic without their consent.

It was the end of May when Mississauga abruptly announced it would rename the Paramount Fine Food Centre, claiming the restaurant, run by Mohamed Fakih, owed it $1.6 million.
