Active shooter alert issued in Pelican Narrows, Sask.

Saskatchewan RCMP sent an alert Monday afternoon saying there was an active shooter at the clinic in Pelican Narrows. In an update about 45 minutes later, they said a male suspect was on foot in the community.

Executive Director Lorraine Daniels says the new building centered on cultural teachings and a dock planned for the riverbank are ways for survivors to reclaim the space.
