Hundreds protest against data centre proposal at Hamilton city hall

Hamilton’s Committee of Adjustment is hearing an application from Slate Asset Management to split up an industrial lot. It is considering building a data centre on part of it. Hundreds of people came to Hamilton city hall on Thursday to oppose the application.
Britain’s government said it will open safe, legal routes for eligible refugees, while also changing human rights laws to make it easier to deport people who are in the country illegally.
