Ottawa police have issued a public warning after a dangerous offender convicted in a series of violent Toronto sexual assaults was released on day parole.

The 44-year-old man was arrested at the Nashville International Airport on Monday after flying there from Ottawa, the U.S. Attorney's Office wrote in a news release.
