The final property tax bill payment deadline is June 18

The deadline for your final property tax bill payment is Thursday, June 18, and you have plenty of convenient options to pay, including:
- Through your financial institution – including online or telephone banking
- City of Ottawa Client Service Centres
- Online by payment card: Ottawa.ca/paytax
- By sending a cheque to the City of Ottawa
- Registering for the Pre-authorized debit (PAD) plan

Benefits include:
- Receive notifications as soon as bills are issued, directly in your inbox
- Manage and track your billing and property tax payment history online
- Keep track of your water usage by receiving alerts for:
- Daily water usage threshold
- Monthly water usage trend
- Continuous water usage – which could identify a plumbing issue, such as leaking toilet
If residents need more information:
- Visit the City’s website at ottawa.ca/taxes
- Check the property tax brochure included with your bill
- Call Revenue Services at 613-580-2444 (TTY: 613-580-2401). Transactions will be recorded
- Email revenue@ottawa.ca
It’s important to note that a penalty charge of 1.25 per cent for late payment is added the day following the due date and the first day of each month thereafter.
