The final property tax bill payment deadline is June 18

The deadline for your final property tax bill payment is Thursday, June 18, and you have plenty of convenient options to pay, including:

Realize the benefits of paperless billing

Discover the convenience of paperless billing for your property tax and water utility bills by creating a My ServiceOttawa account. 

Benefits include:

  • Receive notifications as soon as bills are issued, directly in your inbox
  • Manage and track your billing and property tax payment history online
  • Keep track of your water usage by receiving alerts for:
    • Daily water usage threshold
    • Monthly water usage trend
    • Continuous water usage – which could identify a plumbing issue, such as leaking toilet

Late penalty charges

It’s important to note that a penalty charge of 1.25 per cent for late payment is added the day following the due date and the first day of each month thereafter.
