Woman dead after hiking accident in Kananaskis Country

A 47-year-old Airdrie, Alta., woman died in Kananaskis on Saturday after a hiking accident, police say. The hiker had been summiting Mount Bryant and fell on her way down.

His rescuer was determined to help. She planned to take him home, nurse him back to health and eventually adopt him.
