A 43-year-old Toronto police officer, named Mark, has died after being shot in an exchange of gunfire with a suspect in the northwest end of the city Thursday morning, according Chief Myron Demkiw.
A Montrealer living with ALS, is sharing his story to raise awareness and inspire others while researchers continue to make progress toward treatment for the incurable disease.
