An Indian national convicted of carrying out a Bishnoi gang extortion attack at the Victoria-area home of Punjabi singer AP Dhillon claims the gang has vowed to kill him if he returns to India.

A motorcyclist is dead after a collision on Highway 17, police say. The Upper Ottawa Valley detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police received calls about a collision involving a passenger vehicle and a motorcycle just after 11:30 a.m. on June 28.
