If you keep your ear close to the grapevine, and you follow a gardening Facebook group, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of ‘No Mow May’. But what is the method to all this madness? Well, it’s a conservation initiative that encourages homeowners to refrain from mowing their lawns during the month of May – a way to promote the presence of early-season pollinators like bees and butterflies.
