Indian Road name up for debate by city council in Ontario

Kingston city council is getting set to vote on the renaming of a road with a controversial name, but many of its residents say they’ve been left out of the process.

The program, earlier called the Canada Greener Homes Grant program, was first launched by the federal government in 2021, but lapsed in 2024.
