Ottawa police are set to give a public update next week on the force's latest efforts to combat sexual violence and harassment by its members. Current and former employees tell the CBC's Kristy Nease they don't think meaningful change is coming after 10 years of reviews and recommendations have largely failed to help.
A Canadian-American artist from Ottawa has made a 4-foot-tall beaver statue for the United States. It’s part of the Great Beaver Quest – an art installation initiative that honours the countries participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. That statue, however, has been vandalized.
