Quebec police issued more than 11,000 fines for insults

Police in some of Quebec’s largest metropolitan regions have handed out more than 11,000 fines over the past six years to citizens for allegedly hurling insults at officers or other municipal officials, according to internal data obtained by The Canadian Press.
Two tornadoes have been reported in southern Saskatchewan after thunderstorms were seen moving across the area, though it appears only one may have caused damage.
