Former Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk said during a media tour on Tuesday that he made a very hard decision to move on to the next chapter of his life and career when he requested a trade from the team that drafted him.

In May, Brandy Cooney and Becky Hamber of Burlington, Ont., were found guilty of murdering a boy in their care, and assaulting and confining his younger brother. Today, they'll be sentenced in Milton, and it's possible the court will hear victim impact statements.
