Fireworks on Canada Day, and a handful of other holidays, is a tried-and-true tradition. However, when it comes to setting off these explosives, pyrotechnics come with a lot of baggage. For starters, they are very loud. Pets, to nobody’s surprise, hate them. And, as a result, more events are turning to the latest advances in drone technology to put on a good show. This new wave is continuing to develop in Bonnechere Valley Township, as they replace traditional fireworks with a 100-drone light show for this year’s Canada Day celebrations.
