The Minister of Tourism, Culture and Gaming unveiled the new Harbourfront Centre location on Monday, two years after the permanent science centre was abruptly closed to the public.

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is shifting its explanation for why it isn’t marching in this summer’s Capital Pride parade, saying two years of "political activism and unplanned disruptions" have triggered worries about student safety. Parade organizers say the event will be safe and secure.
