Activities for Canada Day at LeBreton Flats Park and elsewhere in Ottawa have been suspended until further notice due to inclement weather, according to the Canadian Heritage department, as heavy rain causes flooding and road closures.

Airport officials warned the incident could cause flight delays and advised travellers to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport.
