South Saskatchewan River’s high flows dislodge buoys, prompt water rescues

People and pets are being advised by City of Saskatoon officials to stay off the river and avoid its edge due to 'fast-moving water, unstable banks, and submerged hazards.'

The new system, which has already sparked concern among doctors and some health care advocacy groups, has been in the works for months. It allows Albertans to self-refer and pay for MRIs, CT scans, ultrasounds and X-rays.
