Councillor, residents in storm-battered areas remain angry over 'too-slow' response

Between 50 and 150 millimetres of rain fell in many parts of Ottawa on Canada Day, with some places experiencing weather seen only once in every 200 years, according to a memo Saturday to city council.
The polling comes as Canadians are bracing for steep and sweeping 50 per cent tariffs, which are set to hit Canada next month and will cover a wide range of Canadian goods.
