City council has passed a $29 million transportation plan it hopes will get public servants to and from the office an extra day a week, some east-end city councillors says the new measures aren't enough to keep up with the pressure.
June storms in Manitoba and Saskatchewan, along with flooding in the Montreal area, caused more than $1.1 billion in insured damage, the Insurance Bureau of Canada says.
