Memorial tree at Saskatoon cemetery to be cut down due to invasive disease

A tree on the Memorial Avenue of Trees at Saskatoon's Woodlawn Cemetery is being removed due to Dutch Elm Disease, the City of Saskatoon said.

In his 40 years as a lobster fisherman, Robert Wagner had never seen a critter like it: a half-blue, half-orange lobster, split down the middle from head to tail. "I said, 'Wow! I've never seen that like that in my life,'" said Wagner. Oscar is now calling the Beaty Centre for Marine Biodiversity in Halifax home.
