People looking for more space, lower housing costs and easier access to nature are helping drive population growth in Quebec’s Laurentians, according to the province’s latest demographic projections. While Montreal is expected to lose population over the next 25 years, municipalities in the Laurentians are preparing for more residents — and the housing and infrastructure needed to support them.
An Amber Alert for the missing 11-year-old boy has expired, but the family is encouraging people to continue looking as the search for Parker is not over.
